Ten Tips for Getting A Better Night's Sleep

For every night you miss out on good quality sleep, you will increase your chances of injuring your back so take the time to have a good snooze! Watch this short video or review these ten quick tips to learn how to sleep better :) 

  1. Get regular exercise in the morning or afternoon
  2.  Never nap for more than 30 minutes during the day
  3. Keep your sleeping environment cool
  4. But keep your hands and feet warm
  5. Move the TV and computer out of the bedroom
  6. Stay away from phones/tablets before bed
  7. Don't let pets in the bed
  8. Establish a soothing pre-sleep routine (aromotherapy or positive thoughts)
  9. Don't rely on 'catching up' on sleep on the weekend (it doesn't work!)
  10. Be consistent!
